Rap Stakes freestyle tips
You've stepped up to the mic. Here's how to make every bar land in Rap Stakes.
1. Get your mic clear
Find a quiet spot, hold the phone steady and keep background noise down. If the judge can't hear you, it can't rate your bars.
2. Keep your bars short and sharp
Long, tangled lines lose the beat. Short punchy bars with a clean rhyme at the end hit harder and keep your flow tight.
3. Bring the energy
Delivery matters. Ride the beat, vary your voice and sound like you mean it. Confidence carries a verse.
4. Have a few go-to rhymes
Warm up with a handful of rhyme pairs you can lean on when your mind goes blank – then build around them.
5. Know your judge
Rap Stakes has the first-ever AI rap judge. Read how the Rap Stakes AI rap judge works to understand what it's listening for.
